    Getting started
    • How do I get started?

      New user can sign up via https://ca-funding.com/account/createuser/

    • How do I get qualified?

      Select “Complete KYC” Option to complete the required documents

      Step 1: Identity Check
      Step 2: Proof of Residence
      Step 3: Personal Detail
      Step 4: Financial Background
      Step 5: Qualification and Stability
      Step 6: Acknowledgements

      Once completed these steps, our system will proceed to verify users details.

    • Why am I facing trouble uploading document for "Proof of Residence" step in Investor Onboarding process?

      1. Ensure you meet the criteria of an accepted document:
      - Include address field
      - Must be in English language
      - Dated last 3 months
      2. Have one of the documents ready for upload:
      - Credit Card Statement
      - Phone Bill
      - Utility Bill
      3. Make sure there is a company logo on the document and it reflects your name and address clearly.

      4. Do not upload an unclear photo of the document.
      5. No manipulation of the submitted document.
      6. Need not submit the full set of the document due to file size limitation. We will only need the first page of the document which encompasses the requested criteria.
      7. Submitted document should not be a photo of the document displayed on another device. For example: Using phone camera to take a photo of the document displayed on desktop. You may refer to the illustration below.

    • Why am I under review after completing the form?

      We require time to review your application. Thank you for your kind patience.

    • How do I update my particulars?

      If you want to change your particulars, please feel free to email us at [email protected] or call us at +65 6532 7008.

    • I have trouble submitting identity card in the Investor Onboarding process.

      1. Have your ID (Passport or NRIC) ready. “Identity check” stage is to confirm your identity and protect you from identity theft.
      2. Do make sure your ID is not damaged or scratched. Alternatively, you may use passport for the submission.

      1. Option #1: Take a photo using the camera on your device
      2. Make sure all details are clear and text is readable before submission. Check on whether your ID document is supported on the system.

      3. Option #2: Upload front & back of identity card
      4. Upload a colour image of the entire document.
        **Option #1 and #2 are only applicable for desktop and mobile site.
        For mobile app, you can only take a photo for the submission.

      3. Screenshots of your identity card are not allowed.

      4. Do not submit Black & White (B&W) copy of your identity card.



    After project ends
    • In the event of default, what are the measures that CA Funding offers to investors to recover the loan?

      CA Funding will act on behalf of the investors to attempt to recover the defaulted amounts. Some of the measures we may take include:
      • face to face meetings
      • restructuring of the loans
      • engaging professional third-party debt collector
      • commencing legal proceedings

    • What are the costs to be borne by investors to recover the defaults?

      The investors only bear legal costs.

    • What are the costs to be borne by investors for legal proceedings?

      Generally, the legal costs for enforcing a promissory note without trial or other complications can range from S$5,000/- to S$50,000/- depending on the value of the outstanding amount. In the event that any interlocutory application and/or trial is required for the matter, the legal costs can escalate depending on the complexity of the defences raised and the number of witnesses called. CA Funding will seek the consent of all affected investors before proceeding with any legal action.

    • How do I make a withdrawal?

      A. Initiate a withdrawal through the:
      (1) CA Funding website (https://ca-funding.com/account/investment_dashboard/) or
      (2) CA Funding mobile app and
      (3) Expect a confirmation SMS via the phone number submitted to your CA Funding Pte Ltd investor profile.

      B. Your withdrawal amount will be reflected in your bank account 5 working days after initiating a withdrawal, i.e. "T+5 working days". The bank account receiving the monies is the bank account which you have submitted in your KYC profile. Before completing the withdrawal process, you will be prompted to confirm the bank details again before you click the "Submit" button.

       

    • What is the cut off time to initiate a withdrawal?

      Any withdrawal initiated from 0000 hours to 1000 hours will be considered transaction day “T”. Processing takes 5 working days which does not include weekends or public holidays. For withdrawals initiated after 1000 hours, day “T” will be the following working day.

    • How do I check my bank account details linked to my KYC profile on CA Funding platform?
    • How to I change the bank account linked to my KYC profile on the CA Funding platform

      You are not able to change your particulars without re-submitting your KYC. If you would like to change your particulars, please email us at [email protected] or call us at +65 6532 7008, or simply get in touch with our friendly Alternative Wealth Managers who will assist you!

    • When and how do I view and download electronic promissory notes (ePN)?

      Electronic promissory notes are available for online funding projects launched on CA Funding Pte Ltd platform after 5 November 2019, Tuesday. 
      Day "T" is when the online funding project is successfully funded. It will take 5 working days to disburse the funds to the Opportunity Provider. Investors' promissory notes will be available on the mobile site, app, or desktop after an additional 5 working days.
      Working days do not include weekends or public holidays. You may see an illustration in the table below:

    • Are my monies guaranteed or protected?

      No investments are guaranteed or protected. There are risks associated with investing in the projects and all investors must assess such risks and their suitability in order to participate in all projects listed on our platform.

    • How can I fund a project on CA Funding?

      All members must complete the on-boarding process before they are allowed to invest in a project. The on-boarding process will require all members to complete the AML verifications and Knowledge & Suitability Test (KYC) after signing up an account.

    • What are the modes of funds transfer?

      All funds transfer relating to funding activities on the CA Funding platform are handled by Vistra, our licensed escrow Agent. After indicating the interest to participate in funding a project, funds transfer can be effected using Fast and Secure Transfer (FAST) or Cheque. Funds transfer instructions will be provided to investors should they choose to invest in a project.

    • When and how will I get my maturity proceeds?

      As all investors are tagged to a Alternative Wealth Manager, investors will be kept informed and updated on maturing investments.
      The maturity proceeds (P+I) will be transferred to your CA Funding account on maturity date. Investors can then login to their CA Funding accounts and choose to reinvest in new projects or to withdraw their funds. Should investors choose to withdraw their funds, the funds will reach their designated bank account no later than 5 working days.

    • Are the funds held by CA Funding Pte Ltd?

      No. They are held by Vistra, our licensed escrow agent.

    • What is the scope of due diligence conducted on a potential borrower?

      CA Funding will conduct AML and litigation checks on the borrower. Thereafter, we will perform our internal risk assessments based on weighted basket of Quantitative and Qualitative factors such as financial records of the borrowers (financial ability to repay), macro-conditions, reputational risk and collaterals.
